Hello, I have an application (Sage 100 ERP) that needs to send out SMTP email to external users. I’m trying to figure out the best way to configure my Exchange 2013 server to be able to handle these requests and still be secure. Here is my configuration screens, and when I click on “Test E-mail” the user has to fill in their email address, subject and email that they are sending to. The problem I’m having is that I’m not sending emails out from just the Sage 100 ERP servers IP, it sends it out through the workstation that is trying to send the message. So if I create a relay for the server’s IP address and have it except anonymous requests it would only work on the server. I didn’t want to put in the whole internal IP address range and have it except anonymous requests because this would be a huge security and spam risk. I have tested setting up a user with an email account and was able to use TLS 587 with the username and password but I have to send it out as that email address, if I put another users address in it rejects it because I don’t have permissions to send it as them. Should I go in this direction and if so what would I need to do to have this user be able to send out as all of the users or is there a better way?
