Dears

We have migrated our current Exchange 2013 CU11 from "x.com" to "y.com" .

After the Migration which is again exchange 2013 , when we are providing send as permission to any distribution group for a user and then when trying to send a mail from the user's mailbox , the following error occurs .

"you do not have the permission to send the message on behalf of the specified user"

I have provided send as permission from both the "Exchange Admin Center" and from the AD .

Still the same error. When I try to add the user from "Account Settings" in the outlook under advanced in "More settings" then the following error occurs .

"The name cannot be resolved , the name cannot be matched to a name in the address list "

Similarly when I try adding the user using the "Delegate  Access" permission in the outlook , the following error occurs.

"The user cannot be , non-local users cannot be given rights on this server"

From the above error I can understand that the users are fetched from the new domain "y.com"however we have a trust relationship enabled between both the domains in AD.

Kindly give all your insights on the above scenario.
