I have just started working at a new location. A predecessor has created a send connector from our Exchange 2013 to an internal SharePoint 2010 site.
The sharepoint server is running smtp and can receive mail if I telnet to the from the local host to itself on port 25. Hence an .eml message arrives inC:\inetpub\mailroot\Drop on the SharePoint box.
However, when ever I try to send a message to the SharePoint server from exchange, the message is queued for delivery, but the message gets stuck in the mail queue.
Delayed message from Exchange:
Remote Server at sharepointsvr.domain.com (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) returned '400 4.4.7 Message delayed'
