We have a company of several thousand users all using office 2010
We had a user called "sales desk" salesdesk@contoso.com. We removed the email address from the mailbox and made it a dist group.
Anyone emailing salesdesk@contoso.com from outside the domain has no issues. Anyone inside the network gets a "Mailbox not found" bounceback
Without going to every single machine and removing the chached email address and forcing everyone to retype the address by hand, and without canging the address back to a user account and mailbox.....
How can we get the internal users emails to get to the dist group when emailing the salesdesk email?
