Our EX server receives mails successfully for our domain "company.com", now we wish to also receive emails for a subdomain "sub.company.com" however emails don't arrive our network, when I perform MX record check is says that no domain reference found for this address ("sub.company.com").
Do I need to add MX record for the subdomain? Isn't it that the root domain record "company.com" should transfer all sub-domains as well to our network/EX? Can this DNS change somehow risk our root domain mail flow (as all the company emails depend on this domain)? Any reference for further reading will be appreciated.
