We are currently using a wildcard cert in our Exchange 2010 environment, which expires soon. The new cert will not be a wildcard cert and the cert will only have mail.ourdomain.com on it.
What should I do to prevent any issues with clients and Outlook Anywhere?
Currently, the clients not on the network connect by setting the following to the Microsoft Exchange Proxy Settings:
“Only connect to proxy servers that have this principal in their certificate:”
msstd:*.ourdomain.com
