I have two servers running both which runs MB and CAS roles. I also have an Edge server and both of my CAS servers are subscribed to edge servers. I can easily receive emails. I also can send emails to yahoo and hotmail, but I can't send emails to other mail servers like gmail. I checked my servers via mxtoobox.com and dnsstuff.com. I noticed the following warning in both of the tools.
<tt>WARNING: The hostname in the SMTP greeting does not match the reverse DNS (PTR) record for your mail server.</tt>
I changed the receive conectors' smtp banners in my Edge server and CAS servers, but I still receive the same thing. When I send email to "helocheck@helocheck.abuseat.org", I receive an email telling "Rsync gave this error:*** The HELO for IP address MyIPAddress was 'MyEdgeServerInternalName' (valid syntax) ***. I am sure the incorrect name is causing the reject of my emails. I have also configured the right PTR record on my public IP address. Could you please assist me with this? Thanks a lot.
