I have an alias email address that is set up to include several people for work but only 2 people have been given access to check the inbox for that alias. I'm looking to change the alias into a public folder so that no one is attached to the address and it only allows to the specific person or persons to see the reply instead of everyone. Can an alias email address be turned into a public folder?

I am getting below error while sending email to a group that contain more than 100 Users. This distribution group is allowed to accept email from outside. Our email first land on EOP and then receive on Onprem Edge server. We have public IP on edge server.
No NAT. There is no firewall in between EOP and OnPrem.

outlookdn.aspx file on exchange server 2013
Hi Team,
Our security team has found a file in the name of outlookDN.aspx on one of the exchange server that is running CAS roles its running exchange server 2013, the security team is saying this is a malicious file and should not be in the server,
I want to make sure if this file is not required by Exchange server, please see the screenshot of the the file the location is on the exchange directory C:\Exchange Files\FrontEnd\HttpProxy\owa\auth

We are receiving emails for Microsoft Exchange 2013 auth certificate going to be expired by next month. Please let me know the procedure to renew the Microsoft Exchange Auth certificate 2013 on all Exchange servers.
We have less of no.of days as it needs to be renewed on time without users impact.

BCC recipient should be limit 10 only and we should be send 500 mails per hour not more than that

This is Yagna, my requirement is "I have to send 500 mail only per hour and BCC recipients should be limit 10 only, if more than that they should be bounce back after 500 & 10 for sending & BCC respectively.
Please provide the steps to configure ASP.

simplify transport rules with regex?
To log emails by project, we've got about 1600 mail transport rules configured where if a string is detected in the subject it sends a bcc of the email into a corresponding mail-enabled public folder.
For example, if subject contains the project "ABCD-123", send bcc to ABCD-123@domain.com (this is the alias of the PF). Same for ABCD-124 or WXYZ-999, etc. All of our projects use this pattern and have a rule and PF.
Is there a way to have one rule to replace all of these, maybe using regex pattern match to accomplish this?
If subject contains (([A-Za-z]{4})-(\d{3})) then send bcc to (([A-Za-z]{4})-(\d{3}))@domain.com

421 4.3.2 Service not active
Hi,
E2K13CU1 with default settings added to working existing E2K10SP3 organization.
Mail doesn't leave Drafts folder (sent form OWA).
Telnet to server at port 25 responds after MAIL FROM: with:
421 4.3.2 Service not active (exactly - didn't found anything like this anywhere)
I checked DNS (also set custom DNS config in E2K13 ecp, all services are running, no custom AV, no low disk space, no events.

i have an application configured to relay email through exchange 2013 CAS on a custom relay connector. Application successfully send email whole day but with some missed entries show error code 421 service not available in orcale based application log.

Transport error between two exchange sites
Hi there,
a customer of mine has several sites with Exchange 2013 CU18 to CU21. Between two sites there are smtp transport problem. Sometimes Emails get stuck in the queue of the sending server, smtp errors
4.4.1 and 4.4.2 ( cannot reach other server and email dropped ).
The customer is reporting, that there aren't any network problems between those sites.
I searched for transport related events - and to my surprise all related servers are flooded with eventid 16022 "a forced configuration update for Microsoft.Exchange.Transport.TransportServerConfiguration
has successfully completed". - every 2 to 5 minutes a new event...
My be, that these two incidents have nothing in common...

Hybrid enviroment with exchange 2010 and office 365 E3. Encription problem.
Hi. My name is Robin I live in Sweden. I'm a tech manager.
We are deploying office 365 in a hybrid environment with Exchange 2013.
We are discovering OME newest update and have successfully tested on outlook online clients. Both within the organisation and out.
Our problem is that we have a server validating various updates, among them those for exchange server 2013.
We have discovered that desktop versions of Outlook do not have the latest upgrade and derfor not showing the new "encrypt" icon but the old "do not enter one"
Does anybody if this can be the reason why Outlook desktop is not showing the Encrypt icon and outlook online yes?
In that case. Do you know the name of the latest upgrade we should install on the exchange server to be able to have the latest version of office 365 desktop?
Right now we are using, according to the info window in outlook desktop,
version1808. Instead, should we be using have version 1904.
Please help us with this.
We want to solve this issue as soon as possible, before going live with office 365 for our users.

I need to setup external email sending capability for a web-site campaign but I can't get emails to send using TLS or SSL, from an external location over the internet as the server responds with "Server does not support secure connections".
I'm not sure if it's SSL certificate configuration related or firewall related.
The reason I'm suggesting it could be SSL certificate related, is because if I test internally, using the external SMPT server address which resolves internally (e.g. mail.companyname.com), it responds with "The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.".
However, if I change the SMPT server to match the actual LAN hostname of the Exchange Server (e.g. EXSVR01.companyname.com) then emails are sent successfully using TLS or SSL.
The SSL certificate is a signed certificate from a certificate authority.

are message been blocked as spam if the sender server IP is different from the receiver server IP?
i have exchange server 2013 that send messages from fortimail anti spam server (IP), and accept messages untill now from edge server (another IP) in a test period ? the question is in this case the messages that we send will blocked to other sides
as spam or not .. as the sender server IP different from receive server IP !

We have an Exchange 2013 Hybrid Server in one of the AD Site, and Exchange 2013 Edge Server in another AD Site. On Hybrid Server we have configured a send connector so that all Incoming emails and internal emails from all AD sites bound to O365 Users, should be relayed from Hybrid Server Send Connector, but same is not happening emails are routing through Edge Servers, Need expert help to on checking the cause...

Exchange 2013 setting a trigger and notification
Hi Experts,
I've got an Exchange 2013 server and I'm looking for a way to send a notification to myself if a user sends more than 50 emails an hour. Is this possible?
Basically, is there a script which I can run, perhaps every hour, that checks a specific group but individually mailboxes within the group who had sent more than 50 emails in an hour and send me a notification if so?

Delay in Internal Mail Delivery
Hi,
We have an Exchange 2013 DAG setup as below in our environment .
Primary Site - Node1 & Node2
DR Site - Node3
The above servers are setup with multi role (Mailbox and CAS)
The issue is that slow network connection to DR site delay the internal mail delivery...if the copy queue to DR site increases, then the internal mail delivery delays.
DR replication should not affect the mail delivery (both internal and external), but its strange in our case.
Please help to resolve the issue.

Problem with receive mail from external address in exchange online
Hi guys,
Im doing a testing at home for office 365 business premium....i just want to know how exchange online works.
i have a domain name at godaddy and also email services.
I have 2 email created on godaddy with their domain. user1@test.com and user2@test.com
i have created 2 users under office 365.
in outlook, user 1 and user 2 are able to send and receive email from one another. They can also send email externally.
But the prob, they cant received email from external email address. Please help!!
i dont have a public ip address? so i guess i need to download a pop 3 connector..
