SMTP Proxy / SMTP Relay / SMTP Routing

Hi,

I'm not sure what it is actually called, but I'll describe my environment and maybe you can help.

I have two separate environments, each with it's own AD domain and Exchange 2013 (CU5). One environment is for internal company use and the other is a hosting environment, manage by WebsitePanel. We are using KerioControl firewall as the gateway.

I need a way to route/relay/proxy SMTP traffic to the correct server, according to the email address it is sent too.

For example, the internal Exchange server has the accepted domain ABC.com and the hosting Exchange has the accepted domain XYZ.com.If email is sent toJohn@ABC.com the email will be routed to the internal Exchange, if an email is sent toJohn@XYZ.com the email will be routed to the hosting Exchange.

KerioControl firewall doesn't support that and another public IP and MX records is not an option...

So First, I would like to know what it is actually called (SMTP Proxy/Relay/Routing?).

More important, I would like to know if it's something I can configure using a Windows Server 2012 Role/Feature (IIS SMTP Server?) or with one of the Exchange server (like one Exchange receiving all traffic and routing to the other Exchange if the SMTP traffic is not in it's accepted domains).

If there is no way configuring it using a Windows Server/Exchange, any suggestion for a low cost or even free third party product that can do it?

Thanks!
