I have an Exchange 2013 server with domain domena.pl. As an external server, I have a postfix from doemna domena.pl. The Postfix server receives the mail and forwards it to exchange. I have mail accounts on the postfix server from which the mail is not transferred
to exchange. At the same time, I would like to send emails to these accounts on the postfix server from Outlook via Exchange. Unfortunately, Outlook shows that such an account does not exist. How do you set up a send connector for a Postfix server?
Sending emails from Exchange Server to Postfix Server 2013 in the same domain
Three server relay
Let me explain the issue because there are two of them (we think).
We have three exchange servers.
A. Exchange 2007 (in a WS2008 AD)
B. Exchange 2013 (in a WS2012 AD)
C. Exchange 2019 (in a WS2019 AD)
There are several domain names on server B, but only one domain that is shared between all three servers.
For over a year, A and B shared a domain, then C was installed this year (two weeks ago).
None of the servers are in the same AD.
External mail for the sharedomain.com comes to B.
If it gets mail for users that aren't on B it relays to A.
When someone on A sends e-mail to a user not on A it gets relayed to B.
Once C was introduced, C was told to forward to B, B still to A, and A changed to forward to C.
It was working for a couple of days then stopped.
Also, server C will not send any e-mail at all, even though the logs say e-mail is being handed off.
Even Hotmail is not receiving e-mail from server C.
Also we're assuming that B stopped receiving from C but can't show it.
Any help is appreciated.

System can't send test-email over SMTP/TLS
Dear all exchange experts,
Our QDAS system used to send email over 25 annoymous. Currently we have to disable annoymous authentication, instead we decide to send email over 587/TLS, so we create receive connector as below:
however, it does not work when test sending email in QDAS system configuration page:
The email account used is an email user without issue. the log in smtpreceive folder saying:
*,None,Set Session Permissions>,"220 CN-BJI-EXCHP02.Geely.Auto Microsoft ESMTP MAIL Service ready at Mon, 15 Jul 2019 13:26:13 +0800",<,EHLO PCName, *,None,Set Session Permissions>,250-CN-BJI-EXCHP02.Geely.Auto Hello [10.57.101.133],>,250-SIZE 57671680,>,250-PIPELINING,>,250-DSN,>,250-ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES,>,250-STARTTLS,>,250-AUTH GSSAPI NTLM,>,250-8BITMIME,>,250-BINARYMIME,>,250 CHUNKING,<,RSET, *,Tarpit for '0.00:00:05',>,250 2.0.0 Resetting,<,MAIL FROM: <user.qdas@domain.com>, *,Tarpit for '0.00:00:05' due to '530 5.7.1 Client was not authenticated',
It's saying Client was not authenticated. But the account username and password should be correct
What can be the issue here and how to track?
Thanks in advance

If CC box contains "a@contoso.com" Redirect Message to b@contoso.com. But since I created the rule i started facing below issues
When Someone composes the mail and puts anyone in to field eg c@contoso.com along with CC "a@contoso.com". The recepient in to field doesnt receives the mail (Internal Recpient)
When you check the delivery report it shows pending,Please help me if i am missing on anything
I tried below workaround if i add exception in the rule like to field contains let say c@contoso.com, then it works fine
mail flow to deleted mailbox (exchange 2010)
Hi All,
I have a situation where some of my internally hosted exchange mailboxes have been deleted because they have been moved to an externally hosted mail solution.
However now when any of my internally hosted users, (still using exchange) tries to send a mail the moved email address they get an error from the exchange server saying the address could not be resolved.
It's as if the x400 address for the delted user is being retained by the server even after both user and mailbox have been delted, anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Pending messages when email sent in to shared group
Our organisations runs an on premise version of exchange 2013 CU 21 with 12 servers and 4 DAGs (3 servers per DAG)
A few of our servers were recently migrated by a third party over to a new site/data center and ever since the migration we have encountered numerous issues.
The issue i am looking in to at the moment and hoping to get some help on is that we have a universal mail enabled global IT security group with 3 mail enabled global security groups as similar to the below
(G) BHV (GL) IT Infrastructure (Universal Security)
Inf UK (GL Security)
Inf Asia (GL Security)
Inf US (GL Security)
When a member of the team, not just 1 member but all sends an email in to the group, sometimes it will send fine to all 31 recipients, but when sent again later it will only send to 18 or another amount less than 31. We have viewed this via running the delivery reports from ECP, the messages that don't send have a state of pending.
I have Microsoft on the case also, but dont seem to be getting very far at the moment.
Thanks
Exchange DLP
Good day,
Our company implemented DLP last year. We are using default message so far. Now legal dept require us to customize some text for user to take extra precaution.
1. In Outlook, if draft email with sensitive info like IC in the content, Outlook will flag Policy tip to alert user. If user ignore that policy tip and still click send button, a popup message will be display as:
"Your organization won't allow this message to be sent until the sensitive information is removed. Please remove it and try to send the message again."
The above is message is default message in DLP. Can this message be customized? If yes, any idea how to customize it?
Thanks.
Mail Flow rule help - Redirect message and notify sender with a message
I feel that this should not be a hard question, but I must be overlooking something. The goal is to create a rule that redirects emails to a specified user, to another mailbox, and sends a disclaimer/notificationback to the sender. The rule so far is as below:
Apply the rule if.. The recipient is: Specified User
Do the following.. Redirect the message to: Different User
Except if.. The sender is located: Inside the organization
What I want to put in place would be something like below:
Apply the rule if.. The recipient is: Specified User
Do the following.. Redirect the message to: Different User
and Notify the sender with a message: Message text
Except if.. The sender is located: Inside the organization
I can't seem to find a way to have the rule send an email back to the sender. Thanks for any help provided.

Exchange 2019 mailbox with exchagne 2013 EDGE
Hello
I hope some one can help for this.
we have one exchange 2013 server which has mailbox and cas roles, also we have exchange 2013 EDGE for SMTP tier. we are planning to migrate exchange 2013 mailbox server to exchange 219 mailbox .
my question is, if we have latest CU on exchange 2013(both Mailbox and EDGE), once we migrate mailbox to exchange 2019, can we use same old Exchange 2013 EDGE server with new EDGE subscription.
If yes, can you provide some TechNet article.
thanks in advance.

How this spoof worked?
We recently received an email into the CEO's inbox, supposedly from himself asking to release some emails after logging in. He didn't send these emails, and our SPF/DKIM records did not get checked as shown from the header here (mycompany.com is us):
x-env-sender: root@vps.z19.web.core.windows.net
authentication-results: spf=none (sender IP is 85.158.142.43) smtp.mailfrom=vps.z19.web.core.windows.net; mycompany.com; dkim=none (message not signed) header.d=none;mycompany.com; dmarc=none action=none header.from=mycompany.com;compauth=pass reason=704
I'm just at a loss as to how they managed to spoof the email. Does anybody smarter than me have any ideas how and how to protect against it?
I've found a bunch of stuff online about this *web.core.windows.net being a blob storage website on Azure which then seems quite legitimate when it's"Microsoft" that's sending you this email.
Cheers!
External Contact receiving an NDR

Relaying for Tomcat
Hi,
Anyone having experience configuring tomcat server to use Exchange 2013 SMTP to forward emails. The relay connector has already been configured in Exchange. What are the proper email settings we need to use in Tomcat?
Thanks.

421 4.3.2 Service not active
Hi,
E2K13CU1 with default settings added to working existing E2K10SP3 organization.
Mail doesn't leave Drafts folder (sent form OWA).
Telnet to server at port 25 responds after MAIL FROM: with:
421 4.3.2 Service not active (exactly - didn't found anything like this anywhere)
I checked DNS (also set custom DNS config in E2K13 ecp, all services are running, no custom AV, no low disk space, no events.
Thank you

Failed Delivery Report
Hi Everyone
Hope you all good, I'm a noob in here so please be nice :)
I'm currently having issue diagnosing an issue with our Exchange Server 2013.
Some external mails come through and some do not, and usually when senders are asked to resend only then do the mails come through.
I have check with our Spam filtering company and according to them they had not blacklisted these email addresses, in fact, we even when as far as whitelisting those certain email address/domains and still no luck.
The error message I'm getting in the delivery report is: [{LRT=};{LED=250 2.0.0 OK};{FQDN=};{IP=}]
Any help will be appreciated, thanks.
